The Craft of Hand Forging

At the core of our process is traditional hand forging. By heating steel to over 2000°F and shaping it with a hammer, we refine its grain structure, creating a blade that is both tougher and more resilient than one that is simply ground from a bar of steel. This is the art that separates a truly great knife from a good one.
